Mind, Body, Soul
United We Stand?
By Mona Lease

Greetings, Gals!! Keep reaching. Keep stretching!! As I pen this - Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been married a little over 24 hours. Congrats to them!!

I'm not going to trace all of the stuff that's been said about Meghan. We know she was an accomplished actress. And she was married to film producer Trevor Engelson.

Disclaimer: From here forward...I'm not saying for any of you reading this...or hearing this...to divorce anyone. I'm not saying that if anyone applies any of the following to their lives, that they will achieve results like Meghan Markle did. I am saying...consider the following.

It's a fact that the Queen of England has a say in Prince Harry's life...and in this case...his choice of a wife. The Queen obviously approved of Meghan. So a previous marriage/divorce was not a huge "deal-breaker." Meghan Markle obviously made a few "life-changes." After the engagement...she made a few more changes...to live her life as a Duchess.

Meghan Markle gave up her acting career (Rachel Zane, Suits). Members of the royal family almost never have jobs outside of their philanthropic royal duties.

Meghan Markle had to close down her Instagram and blog on social media sites.

The attention the royal family draws makes it hard to walk around in public. Not being able to move around freely in public might sound like a simple sacrifice - until you realize being popular (Duchess) is something you can never really change.

Meghan Markle's wardrobe is chosen for her....Avoid black, stick to bright colors, no pants/slacks, and favoring specific designers over others are all required.

Nothing is off limits to the press. Even Meghan's family and friends have made TV appearances to discuss the wedding to which they were not invited.

Meghan will now be compared to Princess Diana or Kate Middleton. Everything from the clothes they wear to their wedding cakes to the way they dress...gets a side-by-side collage. - Alexandria Whittaker

And perhaps she had to change her speech - words and phrases she might have to lose could include some of the following..(my thoughts).

40 Things No One Over 40 Should Never Ever Say

I don't have time.                       It's not fair.
You look tired.                           Out of my way.
Next.                                        I'm on a diet.
Watch out, jerk.                         Who are you voting for?
Are you finished?                       For a....
Let's get brunch.                        Like I said before.
As I've said before.                    I'm too busy.
No problem.                               Am, I boring you?
I don't care.                               Sorry, but...
I give up.                                   I told you so.
With all due respect.                   You never/You always.
I'll try.                                       You're so skinny.
That's not my job.                      How much do you weigh?
It's not my fault.                        You shouldn't be eating that.
I can't.                                      You look great for your age.
This will only take a minute.       Are you pregnant?
Who passed gas??                    Relax.
It was only a joke.                     You're so woke.
Shut up.                                   Have you gained weight?
So, when are you going to have a baby?
Can I ask you a stupid question?

Some thoughts from me: A woman I was friendly with last year told me what the Bible had to say concerning my life. So...

If the Queen (and King) of England overlooked Meghan Markle's divorce....and that is a huge blot for the Royal Family to overlook...what would this God the woman referenced overlook for me??

And..Will Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding strengthen the USA and England's "allied ties?"

can't solve your problems. Just knowing there is someone who cares can make all the difference." - sun.gazing.com
