The Darke County Animal Shelter has a new dog available for adoption.

He got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and is heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.

The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.

Dopey came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Dopey is a 1-year-old, intact male Terrier Mix. Dopey has shown us that he knows how to sit, laydown and likes treats. Dopey is a shy guy who will need time to warm up. Dopey learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Dopey did great for his bath and exam where he weighs in at 30 lbs.
