The Greenville Lady Wave golf team hosted the Troy girls golf team at Turtle Creek Golf Course on August 21, 2024.
The Lady Wave won the match 203-220.
Leading the Wave were Vera Cox with a 43, Callee Moore with a 47, Sofia Chrisman with a 51 and Reese Addington with a 62. Also playing for the Wave were Ava Good with a 63 and Kennedy Schoen with a 67.
Leading the Troy team were Morgan Maxwell with a 50, Jacy King with a 55, Ava Smith with a 57 and Myah Bitemo with a 58. Also playing were Malela Bitemo with a 60 and Emma Warnecke with a 66.
The girls played well today. We still have a few things to work on but we are seeing improvement. Callee Moore had a personal 9 hole best of 47. Callee’s hard work is really paying off and her scores are improving.
The Lady Wave are now 2-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
