Suzy Q and Mac are waiting at the Animal Shelter for their fur-ever home

The Darke County Animal Shelter has Suzy Q and Mac available for adoption.

They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.

The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645

Suzy Q came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Suzy Q is 8-year-old female Terrier Mix. Suzy Q is a very sweet girl who loves attention and treats. Suzy Q knows how to sit, shake and loves to play with toy. Suzy Q doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter and loves everyone. Suzy Q did great for her exam where she weighs in at 44 lbs.

Mac came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Mac is a 2-year-old intact male Shepherd Mix. Mac shown us that he knows how to sit, shake and loves treats. Mac is a very sweet boy who just wants attention. Mac is learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Mac did great for his exam where he weighs in at 45.5 lbs.
