Location: The Laundry Room, 849 E. Main Street, Greenville, Ohio
At approximately 6:47 a.m. on May 3, 2025, officers from the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to The Laundry Room located at 849 E. Main Street in reference to a breaking and entering complaint made by the business owner.
Through investigation, officers determined that two individuals—identified as Leroy “Brock” Crawford and Celeste Marie Julian—had entered the business around 4:30 a.m. Once inside, the suspects used tools to gain access to restricted areas of the facility. Multiple items were stolen from within those areas.
Following further investigation, the suspects were located at 800 E. Fifth Street, Greenville, Ohio. Upon police arrival, the suspects initially barricaded themselves inside the residence. However, thanks to the efforts of the department’s hostage negotiator, both individuals surrendered safely and without incident.
Crawford and Julian were arrested and transported to the Darke County Jail. They are currently being held on felony charges of Breaking & Entering, with additional charges pending. This case remains under active investigation.
Chief Ryan P. Benge commends the officers of the Greenville Police Department for their swift response and diligent investigation that led to these arrests. Chief Benge also encourages members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in this or other investigations aimed at protecting victims and preventing crime in our community.
