Darin R. Leeper, age 65, of Rossburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.
He was born on March 2, 1960, in Greenville, to the late Ed and Jean (Emig) Leeper.
In addition to his parents, Darin was preceded in death by his siblings, Doug Leeper, Dave Leeper, and Don Leeper; and his sister-in-law, Karlynn Leeper.
Darin is survived by his children, Darin (Celeste) Leeper of Ansonia, and Kelly Leeper of Ft. Myers, Florida; his grandchildren, Kennedy Leeper, Briar Leeper, Bailee Pretsman, and Hayden Pretsman; his siblings, Dennis Leeper, Diane (Tom) Jenkins, Dane (Linda) Leeper, Darrell (Cheryl) Leeper, Darwin (Valerie) Leeper, Dwane Leeper, Doreen (Chris) Culy, and Dwight (Kim) Leeper; his sisters-in-law, Marie Leeper and Kathy Leeper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Mississinawa Valley High School, Class of 1978, he dedicated much of his life to being an over-the-road truck driver. Most recently, he worked for Stoller Trucking and Classic Carriers, embracing the open road.
Darin was a true adventurer at heart. His love for the great outdoors shined brightly, whether he was fishing at his favorite spot, tending to his garden, or traveling far and wide across this beautiful country. He cherished the moments spent surrounded by family and friends, always seeking the next chance to share a good laugh and a cold beer. His passion for cooking and canning the produce from his garden brought the family together.
Darin leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and a zest for life that will live on through all who knew him. He was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted brother, and a cherished friend, and he will be deeply missed by all.
Guests may visit with the family from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
