Greenville, OH – The Anna Bier Gallery is proud to present Saving The Past: In Black & White and Sometimes a Little Color, an evocative exhibition of drawings by Elida, OH artist Tom Lehman, opening this summer. A reception celebrating the opening of the exhibition will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m at the Anna Bier Art Gallery. The Gallery is located inside St. Clair Memorial Hall at 215 W. 4th St., Greenville, OH. All are welcome to attend and meet the artist in person.

The show will also be open to the public on Fridays from July 11 through July 25, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Anna Bier Gallery inside St. Clair Memorial Hall.

This special exhibit captures historic and nostalgic American scenes through Lehman’s masterful use of black and white drawing, occasionally enhanced with a subtle touch of color. A lifelong artist and storyteller through ink, Lehman invites viewers to step into moments preserved in time — like the rustic charm of the Luckenbach, Texas post office, featured in one of his signature works.

“Tom’s work invites us to pause and appreciate the architecture and stories of the past that still echo around us,” said Jennifer Overholser, Director of the Anna Bier Gallery. “This exhibit is a beautiful tribute to both craftsmanship and memory.”
