On Thursday, May 15, the littlest learners at Anthony Wayne Preschool got a hands-on introduction to agriculture safety — and they had a blast while learning important life lessons!
The preschoolers rotated through fun, interactive stations led by amazing community partners and volunteers, including:
- EMS & Fire Safety – Learning how first responders help on the farm
- Dairy Education – Discovering where milk comes from
- Darke County Soils & Water – Exploring how soil and water keep farms healthy
- Tractor Safety – Climbing in the cab and learning how to stay safe
- Grain Safety – Understanding the dangers and importance of grain bins
- Gardening Station – Planting seeds and digging into where food begins
- Animal Station – Meeting friendly farm animals
- Farm to Table – Seeing the journey from the farm field to their lunchbox
A big THANK YOU to all who made this possible — teaching our future farmers and community members how to stay safe and smart around agriculture!
