Greenville, OH – The Light Foundation is now accepting applications for its highly anticipated Timber Frame Leadership Camp, taking place July 13–16 at the Foundation’s outdoor leadership campus, Chenoweth Trails, in Greenville, Ohio. Applications must be submitted online by June 16th at www.mattlight72.com.

This three-day, immersive camp experience is designed for rising high school students ready to push their limits, grow as leaders, and develop hands-on skills through team-based timber frame construction and leadership training. Participants will live, learn, and lead in an outdoor setting that challenges them to work together, communicate effectively, and build lasting confidence.

This year’s project will focus on building a second set of hand-hewn bleachers to match the set constructed by last year’s campers—positioned beside the Foundation’s brand-new sports court. The project emphasizes craftsmanship, teamwork, and pride in contributing to a lasting legacy at Chenoweth Trails.

Matt Light, co-founder of the Light Foundation and three-time Super Bowl champion, shared, “The Timber Frame Leadership Camp is one of the most rewarding programs we run. It gives young people the opportunity to learn real skills, gain confidence, and grow into strong leaders—while having a whole lot of fun in the process.”

The application process is competitive, and space is limited. Students interested in applying should visit www.mattlight72.com and submit their online application by the June 16th deadline.

Sponsorships are available. To support this impactful program or learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Brandi at brandi@mattlight72.com.
