The Arcanum Police Department is pleased to announce the establishment of a Safe Exchange Zone, which will provide a secure location for Internet purchase transactions, child custody exchanges, and other similar activities.
Location: 309 S. Albright Street / Arcanum Police Department Parking Lot
Availability: 24/7 timer activated surveillance
Our Safe Exchange Zone is monitored by timer activated security camera with audio and located in a well-lit area to ensure the safety of all parties involved. This space is designed to:
Provide a secure environment for buying, selling, and trading items from online platforms (e.g., Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist).
Offer a neutral, safe location for child custody exchanges
We encourage the community and county members to use this resource to promote safety and prevent fraud or unsafe encounters.
