Barbara Jean (Brant) Jones age 77, of Versailles and formerly of Covington passed away at 1:20 pm Friday, May 16, 2025, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Barbara was born November 11, 1947, in Piqua to the late Daris Londale & Thelma June (Holsinger) Brant. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Rae Brant and Betty Lou Looker, and brother, Thomas Londale Brant.
Barbara is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Michael Douglas & Julie Weldy of Cincinnati; grandchildren, MaKenzie Jo Weldy, Jacob Weldy, Kandas Weldy, Brodrick Weldy, and Courtney Owens; great grandchildren, Kaylynn Marie Field, Kylee Field, Macie Field, Mollie Field, Madison Field, Summer Eades, Wylder Eades, Liam Weldy, Aryelle Cunningham, Alloni Cunningham, and Xaidyn Cunningham; siblings, Sandra Sue Jennings, JoAnne Brant, Deborah Kay Martin, Patsy Jane Vannoy, Carol Ann Smith, Ronald Dean Brant, and Janet Lynn Brant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara retired in 2010 from Covington Care Center where she was an LPN for 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the Covington VFW Auxiliary. Barbara loved traveling, gambling, and playing games with family and friends.
