Billy was born May 3, 1938, in New Harrison to the late Verle Leroy & Mildred Marie (Thwaits) Miller.
Billy is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Zelda Jean (Rehmert) Miller who he married June 25, 1966; daughter, Michelle Wilson of Greenville; and grandson, Chancellor Wilson of Greenville.
Billy was a 1956 graduate of Greenville High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1959. Billy retired from Corning Glass in Greenville with 40 years of service as a tradesman. He was a member of Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church where he served as lay speaker and a Sunday School teacher. Billy was a very loving and caring, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Detroit Red Wings.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday, June 13th, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Jim Stilwell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson with full military honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church.
