On October 26, 2024 at 8:18p.m. Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Union City Fire and Rescue responded to the 1100 block of Converse Road in reference to a single vehicle accident with injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Red 2006 Toyota Corolla, driven by Jacob Weaver (19), of Greenville, was traveling Eastbound on Converse road. Mr. Weaver failed to negotiate a curve, and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a tree.
Mr. Weaver was treated on scene, and released. Mr. Weavers’ female juvenile passenger was transported to Wayne Hospital for a minor injury.
This accident remains under investigation.
