The Greenville Lady Wave golf team traveled to Troy Country Club to play the Troy girls” golf team.
The Lady Wave won the match 200-205. Leading the Wave were Vera Cox with a 43, Callee Moore with a 51, Sofia Chrisman and Taylor Trissel each with a 53. Also playing for the Wave were Paityn Lehr with a 54 and Kennedy Schoen with a 64.
Playing for Troy were Morgan Maxwell with a 43, Myah Bitemo with a 47, Malela Bitemo with a 56 and Jacy King with a 59. Also playing were Jacy King with a 59 and Ava Smith with a 61.
The girls played well on a golf course they have never seen. We now have to get ready for the MVL conference tournament and sectionals.
The Lady Wave finish the season 7-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
