She stated her brother has paranoid schizophrenia and had been drinking alcohol for most of the day. Danielle said when she got home that night her brother, Harley Steward, had smashed multiple things around the house and tried to attack her by putting his hands on her neck and shoving her back. She also told officers she grabbed Harley and shoved him back to keep him away from her. Danielle stated Harley has never been physical with her in the past, and she just wanted him to leave for the night. Harley stated that the two never got physical and that he was just extremely intoxicated. Officers asked Harley if he had some place else to stay for the night. Harley stated he had a friend in Dayton but was unable to reach him. Officers offered to take Harley to a motel, but he stated he would just go to his room and go to sleep. Officers told Danielle if he leaves his room and it causes issues again to call.
Wanted Person
On April 13th, 2025 at approximately 2253 hours, while on patrol in the city of Greenville, Ohio 45331 I observed two subjects riding bicycles on the sidewalk near the intersection of Wagner Avenue and Lease Avenue. The two subjects were traveling northbound and at the intersection started heading westbound towards Wal-Mart. The two subjects took their turn wide and almost ran into a vehicle exiting the parking lot. I called out to the two subjects and spoke with them stating they needed to be more careful and I advised they need to get lights on their bikes if they are ever riding in the roadway. I observed one subject to be very excited and in a rush. I asked him to come back and speak with me. That subject advised he was trying to get into the store before they closed, and again appeared to be in a hurry. I asked the two subjects if they would identify themselves. One subject stated his name was William Hudson and advised me of his date of birth. The other subject appeared to be less inclined to speak with me but did state his name was Joshua Combs and also gave me his date of birth. I told William and Joshua to be safe and they went on with their night. I verified the subjects identities through dispatch. Dispatch ran their information through LEADS/NCIC and advised Joshua had a warrant out of Moraine Police Department for failure to appear on an original offense of possession of a drug abuse instrument with a bond of $750. I had dispatch confirm the warrant to which they replied it was a good pick up. I waited outside of Wal-mart for the subjects to come out a short time later. I made contact with Josh again and he advised he knew he had a warrant. I placed Joshua in handcuffs which were gap checked and double locked. I advised Joshua of his Miranda Rights and searched his person. While searching Joshua’s person he advised he did use Methamphetamine’ s approximately three to four hours prior. Joshua also stated he had high blood pressure issues. I advised dispatch to have Greenville Township Rescue respond to the scene to check Joshua’s vitals. While waiting on Rescue, Joshua advised he used Fentanyl approximately three to four hours prior to our interaction. I asked him if he used both Meth and Fentanyl to which he replied, no only Fentanyl. Once Rescue arrived they were able to get a heart rate and blood pressure for Joshua. Joshua’s blood pressure was high but he wasn’t concerned about it. I transported Joshua to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office Jail where he was incarcerated until Moraine PD could pick him up. The backseat of my cruiser was checked prior to and after transportation with no contaband being found.
