On July 15, 2024 at approximately 6:04 a.m. Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Rescue and Pitsburg Fire Department responded to the 9200 block of Pitsburg-Laura Road on a reported motorcycle crash with injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed a green Harley-Davidson Road King driven by Christopher Keiser 54, of New Madison was traveling eastbound on Pitsburg-Laura Road, when he drove off the right side of the roadway colliding with the ditch. Keiser was pinned between the motorcycle and a fence before fire personnel were able to free him from being underneath the motorcycle. Keiser was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center for minor injuries.
