auline Bernice Cox age 86, of Greenville passed away at 5:17 pm Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
Pauline was born on February 10, 1939, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Marion A. & Ada (Cable) Baker. Pauline was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Cox on January 16, 2008, whom she married November 14, 1964; great granddaughter, Violet Meyer; sister, Katherine Baker; and brothers, Marion Baker Jr., Dwight Baker, and Richard Baker.
Pauline is survived by her children, Cathy (Roe) Watkins of Arcanum, Ronald (Cindy) Cox Jr., of Ansonia, Kristie Hudelson of Greenville, and Shellie (Tony) Lewis of Lightsville; grandchildren, Amber (Jim), Kyle, Kelsie (Rob), Brook (Chris), Ty (Cheyenne), Britney (Alex), Derek (Jessica), Daniel (Letizia), Maci, Jordan, Lacey, and Toni; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pauline worked at Fram-Honeywell for 27 years and retired from Kroger on September 6, 2007, after 2 years of service. Pauline enjoyed crocheting, reading, crafting, and decorating cakes. She was a member of the Ansonia First Church of God.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Ippy Mwakabonga officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
