The City of Greenville would like to remind residents that earlier this year, the City Council passed an ordinance prohibiting door-t-door sales or home soliciting within the city limits.
Should anyone come to your door in attempt to sell goods or services, please contact the City of Greenville Police Department immediately to report this activity and provide them with as much detail as possible (i.e. the address, color and make of the vehicle, license plate, individual’s name and name of the company they were representing, etc.) so as to stop this activity from occurring within the city.
Please note: Non-Profit organizations are exempt from this (i.e. Girl Scouts, School or Team Fund Raisers, etc.)
