September 19, 1947 – May 8, 2025
Robert “Bob” Allen Noggle Sr., age 77, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
Born on September 19, 1947, in Greenville, Ohio, Bob was raised by his late aunt and uncle, Mary and Loring Fair. He graduated from Greenville High School and went on to build a meaningful and productive life through hard work and craftsmanship. For many years, Bob worked as a skilled cabinet maker and also constructed greenhouses, projects that reflected both his talent and pride in his work.
A man of dedication and principle, Bob was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. His passion for woodworking was well known, and the furniture, keepsakes, and handcrafted treasures he made will continue to be cherished by those fortunate enough to receive them.
To his grandchildren, Bob was more than a grandfather—he was an adventurer and storyteller, often taking them on cherished golf cart rides through the campgrounds, lovingly known as “J-Rides.” These moments, filled with laughter and joy, created memories that will live on for generations.
In addition to his aunt and uncle, who raised him, Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Vera Noggle, and father. As well as his loving wife, Jaci Lyn (Beam) Noggle, the two were married on July 4, 1989, and spent many wonderful years together, also, his cousins, Don Wagner and Betty Dickson.
Bob leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, craftsmanship, and family. He is survived by his children, Robert Allen (Sara) Noggle Jr., Angie (Randy) Didier, and Christina Garlinger. His grandchildren and great grandchildren; Spencer Noggle, Jessie Noggle, Lucas Noggle, Cole (Marilyn) Harshbarger: Harper, Miles, and Izzy, Trevor Noggle: Matteo, Ava Garlinger, Brody Garlinger, Dylan (Kacie) Didier: Loretta and Wade, Benjamin (Erica) Didier: Rylin, Elliot (Macie) Didier: Braxton, Eldean, and Maria, and Dalton Didier: Daisy. Brothers and sisters in law, Randy Beam, Tonya (Junior) Hawes, Michelle (Tom) Summers, Christina (Fred) Plunkett, and Michael (Michelle) McClurg, 10 nieces and nephews and their spouses, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who have had the pleasure of meeting him.
At Bob’s request, there will be no services at this time, but the family will be holding a private graveside service. In memory of Bob, memorial contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.zecharbailey.com for the Noggle family.
