Sharon Elaine Maloy, 79 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday June 13, 2025, at 1:05 AM at Buckeye Forest of Greenville. Sharon was born December 17, 1945, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell Roy and Jaquelyn June (Warner) Riffell.
Sharon worked at Wayne Healthcare for 32 years in Dining Services. She loved to crochet and cross stitch, playing cards with friends, and mostly loved her family and spending time at family get togethers.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Maloy whom she married October 12, 1963; her grandson, Avery Justin Maloy; and her brother, Jerry J. Riffell.
Sharon is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Mark Maloy, and Rusty and Brenda Maloy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Rick, and Darlene Riffell; and her sister-in-law, Brenda “Bill” Riffell.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens with Jeff Yantis officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
