This sweet 1-year-old intact male King Charles Cavalier/Shih Tzu mix came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own, and he’s ready to find his forever kingdom! His previous owners shared that Rufio is wonderful with kids and other dogs, and he’s even crate. While Rufio hasn’t had experience with cats and is still mastering his house-training skills, his adorable face and loving personality more than make up for it. He arrived with some missing patches of hair on his side, but that doesn’t diminish his cuteness one bit! Rufio is a truly sweet boy who already knows how to sit and absolutely adores attention. He’s also learning to walk nicely on a leash and has been comfortable and friendly around the other dogs here at the shelter. Get ready to fall in love with this little gem! Rufio did great for his exam where he weighed in at 21 lbs. This adorable 5-month-old female Terrier mix came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of her own, and she’s just what you’d expect from a pup! Rain loves all the best things in life: yummy food, cozy naps, playful romps, and showering everyone with sweet puppy kisses – what more could you ask for? This little sweetheart is also learning the ropes of walking on a leash and has been friendly and curious around the other dogs at the shelter. This lovely girl arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we’re still getting to know all her wonderful quirks. Based on our observations, we believe Lacy is a gentle 1-year-old Newfoundland mix. She’s a total sweetheart with a big, soft heart and acts like she’s never met a stranger, happily greeting everyone she encounters. Lacy absolutely enjoys her time outdoors, where she loves to run and enthusiastically chase after balls (though bringing them back isn’t her forte – the chase is the fun part!). She’s already shown us that she knows how to sit and eagerly accepts treats, especially when hand-fed. Lacy is also learning to walk nicely on a leash and has been relaxed and friendly around the other dogs at the shelter. Lucy did great for her exam where she weighed in at 74 lbs.
