“Building Blocks II” Parenting Class Planned, Diane Barga, Program Assistant, OSU Extension
OSU Extension, Darke County, has scheduled a “Building Blocks II” parenting series.  The classes will be held July 6 and 13, 2011, at the OSU Extension Learning Center, 603 Wagner Avenue, Greenville.  The class times are from 6:00-8:00pm.  There is no fee for this class.  This is an adult only series. Memorial Day closing - Community Action Partnership of Greater Dayton/Darke County will be closed Monday, May 30, in honor of Memorial Day. This includes the Senior Meals Program and Metropolitan Housing Authority. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 31. Transportation service available - CAP Community Transportation will be in operation for those who need service through the JARC program on Memorial Day, Mon., May 30, 2011. American Red Cross Reaches out to Community Volunteers

We finally had a hike without rain! Is It Impossible to be Gay and Christian?
This third session on homosexuality and the Church will happen May 9, 7 P.M.  at First United Methodist Church. We will continue our discussion of the role of Scripture. We will study what it says and what it doesn’t say. This will be the end of this series, but not the end of the discussion.
