The Haworth family and friends are deeply sorrowful at the passing of Alexa Hope Walker, age 12 of Greenville, Ohio. Alexa left this world unexpectedly on Saturday evening, April 22nd with her mom, grandparents, and sister at her side.
Alexa Hope was born on March 30, 2011, in Dayton, Ohio. During Alexa’s short life, she lived up to her name “Hope”. Her smiles and joy brightened up even the darkest days for her family and friends. We will miss her clacking her toys on her tray, her Darth Vader breathing through her tracheotomy to get your attention, and her sweet hugs with her head nudged into your chest.
She will be missed by her mom, Jeanna York; sister, Aerianna York; her grandparents/caregivers, Terry and Carol Haworth all of Greenville, Ohio; along with a half sister and brother, her nurses, and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private family service will be held on Friday, April 28th at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home. Donations will be accepted in Alexa’s memory and will be given to EUM Church to provide scholarships to send students in need to Camp Wild. Please make all checks out to EUM Church.
