Ansonia FFA students volunteer to clean up after Tornado

On March 20th, 46 students from the Ansonia FFA volunteered their day to clean up the community from the tornados that hit between Ansonia and Greenville.

The FFA members worked hard all day, battling the cold and the wind to make a difference in our community.

Thank you to Jeremy Edger and Kyle Schlechty for leading the effort and orchestrating the clean-up. We also want to thank the many other community volunteers for the use of their rangers, trailers, and their time. The Whistle Stop for donating pizza for lunch, as well as Sharp’s Tavern, Pizza Hut and Domino’s. Lowes and TSC for donating gloves for the students to wear and Rural King for donating water to keep all of the volunteers hydrated.

We are “Living to Serve” and are grateful to serve our wonderful community.
