The Darke County Animal Shelter has 4 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Travis came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Travis is a 1 year old, intact male Hound Mix. Travis is a very sweet boy who loves treats and attention. Travis walks well on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Travis is a playful guy who just wants attention! Travis did great for his bath and exam where he weighed in at 56.2lbsTitan came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Titanis a 5-year-old, intact male Dalmatian/Hound Mix. Titan had shown us that he knows sit, shake, loves treats and walks well on a leash. Titan is very playful boy who loves to play ball and will even bring it back to you. Titan doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Titan did great for his bath and exam where he weighed in at 54.2lbsNova came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Nova is a 5-year-old, female Shepherd mix. We have found that Nova loves attention! Nova has shown us she knows how to sit, shake, lay down and loves treats! Nova walks well on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dog here at the shelter. Nova did great for her bath and exam where she weighs in at 49 lbs. Aspen came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Aspen is a 6-year-old, female Terrier mix. Aspen is a very sweet, easy-going girl. Aspen has shown us she knows how sit, shake, laydown and loves treats. Aspen loves attention and is definitely a loafer! Aspen walks great on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dog here at the shelter. Aspen did great for her much-needed nail trim, bath and exam where she weighs in at 42 lbs
