Boys Varsity Bowling falls to powerhouse Fort Loramie

By Mindy Longfellow |

In a week #1 make-up match at Woodcrest Lanes, the Boys Varsity bowling team took on the defending league champ Fort Loramie Varsity.

With a season high personal score in the first regular game, the Hawks didn’t fall too far behind the Redskins. However, in the second regular game, a lot of missed throws for MV and great pick-ups for Fort Loramie widened the gap going into the baker game round. The pins fell about the same during the baker games, ending the match with the Hawks behind, 1605 to 2399.

Though MV ended with a loss, Coach Rehmert was still pleased to see continued improvement from his team, who will get a rematch with the Redskins on Tue., Dec. 26th at 11am, again at Woodcrest Lanes.
