Brian Lee Anguiano

AUGUST 21, 1990 – AUGUST 11, 2023

Brian Lee Anguiano, 32 of Union City, Ohio, passed away on Friday August 11, 2023 in Sidney, Ohio. He was born August 21, 1990 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of Antonio Anguiano of Winchester, Indiana and the late Magdalena (Cruz) Anguiano.

Brian loved life and he especially loved his kids; he always had a smile and was sharp dressed. He loved to spend Sundays watching football with his children especially his favorite team the Bengals. Brian and his brother, John, moved from foster care into the Berns family in 1999. He attended St. Clare Elementary school and Finneytown High School. He was active on the football team and in basketball.

Brian is preceded in death by his mother; his brother, Aaron Berns; and his grandparents; Susanna and Juan Anguiano and Anita and Pedro Cruz.

Brian is survived by his father; his adopted mother, Connie Berns; his children, Carmela, Carlos, and Mya; his sibling and spouses, Aida and Jose Cantu, Tony and Samantha Anguiano, Juan Anguiano, Annalisa Berns and husband Ethan Cooke, Thom Berns, Cassandra Berns, Jason Berns, Jeremy Berns, John Anguiano Berns, Brianna Berns, and Weslee Berns; his aunts and uncles, Johnny and Emma Anguiano and family, Jess and Marcia Anguiano and family, Alicia and Mike Hoover and family, Jimmy Anguiano, Joe Anguiano, Elsa and Alex Del La Peña and family, Cindy (Denniston) Anguiano and family and Ramona Anguiano; his nieces, Joscette Salinas, Gabby Anguiano, Kylee Anguiano, Sofia Anguiano, Isabella Anguiano, Neveah Anguiano, Nala Anguiano, Emilee Cantu; his nephews, Isaac Craiger, Isaiah Craiger, Jarrin Craiger, Juanito, Julio, Jose, Hunter, and Josh Cantu.

Services will be held on Friday August 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Snell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help set up an account for his children.
