Tegtmeyer, Carl Duane, age 74, of Arcanum, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 following a sudden illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Mary Tegtmeyer. He was a 1966 graduate of Arcanum High School. He was a lifelong Darke County farmer and he was the sexton at Ithaca Cemetery for many years. He was also a member of Greenville Farm Power of the Past. He will be missed by the breakfast group at Miller’s Tavern in Arcanum.
Carl is survived by two sons, Carl Tegtmeyer, II (Jennifer) and Rob Tegtmeyer (Erin); grandchildren, Carson, Cooper, Caydree & Payton; brothers, Roger Tegtmeyer (Mary) & Richard Tegtmeyer (Marie); sister, Pam McLain (Howard) & numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held 4-6pm Wed. March 22 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304 with services to follow at 6.
