Carol Louise Huntington

June 1, 1946  –  March 18, 2023

Carol L. Huntington, 76, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away early Saturday morning, March 18, 2023, at Village Green Health Campus in Greenville.

She was born on June 1, 1946, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late William Bowman and Pauline (Martin) Arnett.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Huntington; her son, Donald Gregory Huntington; her stepfather, Thomas Arnett; and her sister, Donna Bowman.

Carol lived a full and eventful life. She had so many hobbies, there is no way to list them all. Some of her favorite activities were cooking, crocheting, singing and gardening. She enjoyed getting together with friends and playing cards. She and Jack have ridden countless miles traveling across the country on their motorcycle. But most of all, she loved people. She worked at the Brethren Retirement Community for 16 years. She enjoyed talking to and helping the residents, trying her best to make their day.

Carol is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jack Duke; her children, Kevin (Lea) Huntington of Dayton, Ohio, and Julie Marie Huntington of Greenville; her grandchildren, Caleb (Alyssa Polequin) Huntington, Lucas (Jennifer) Huntington, London Arwood, Daisy, Landon, and Mason King, Mackenzie Dean; a great grand baby on the way. She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Nikki (Travis) Pearson and Mark Duke; her brother, John (Juanita) Bowman of Florida; and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Cedar Grove Church, 373 Love Road, New Paris, Ohio 45347, with Pastor Tony Price officiating.

Her family will be receiving guests on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the Church.
