AUGUST 4, 1956 – JULY 28, 2023
Cheryl Ann Worden, age 66 of Greenville, Ohio was reunited with her mother and father on July 28, 2023 at 12:39 PM at Kindred Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Miami Dade, Florida on August 4, 1956 she was a daughter to the late Ernest W. & Eugenia A. (Knickerbocker) Benton. Cheryl enjoyed playing games on her phone, and watching “Merlin” and “Charmed”. More than anything she loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Frank, Marc, Howard and Earnest Benton.
Survived by her children Edward & Anne Tucker; Misty & Greg Glick; Jaime & Gabe Wombolt: grandchildren Justen Shepherd; Kody Purvis; Kasey Purvis; Sidney Purvis; Joseph David Tucker; Kaleb Wombolt; Taylor Wombolt: 8 great-grandchildren: brother David & Jodi Benton: nieces Amber Rose Albright; Octavia Chavez: nephews Daniel Benton; Marc Benton, Jr.; Chris Benton; Sean Benton; Dave Benton; Isaac Benton.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2023 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Celebration of life to follow at 11 AM with Pastor Todd Reish presiding. Fond memories may be shared at www.zecharbailey.com for the Worden family.
