Concerts in the Park to Feature JulieAnn Bernard

The Greenville Municipal Jazz Band will take the stage at the Marling Band Shell in the beautiful Greenville City Park this Sunday, July 18th at 7pm.  The concert is free and open to the public.

This week the Greenville Municipal Jazz Band will feature JulieAnn Bernard.  Over the course of her 40-years on stage, JulieAnn M. Bernard has performed as both a rock and classical musician throughout the United States and Europe. Classically trained as a violinist, she has performed in back-up orchestras for renowned performers such as Ricky Skaggs and The King’s Singers. As a studio musician her vocal and violin stylings encompass a wide variety of styles: rock, Celtic, classical, and jazz. Currently JulieAnn sings with Signs of Life: The American Pink Floyd and serves as the 1st violinist in the Classics Quartet for Fairhaven Church. A 28-year veteran music educator, she is the department chair for the Centerville City Schools Orchestra Program.

Plenty of park bench seating is available or you are welcome to bring your own chair or blanket to enjoy the show.  Bring a friend, enjoy the beauty of the park and the Greenville Municipal Jazz Band featuring JulieAnn Bernard.  The Concerts in the Parks Series are totally free of charge.

There will be no concert next Sunday, July 25th.  Please enjoy the gathering at Garst.  The Greenville Municipal Concert Band will return on Sunday, August 1 with the exciting sounds of the Green DeVilles.
