Dale Glen Lockhart, 80, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
He was born on May 30, 1942, in Oblong, Illinois, to the late Hosie and Miranda (McCrory) Lockhart.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Leland and Myrtle Lockhart; and his sister, Donna Wait.
Dale was a graduate of Oblong High School in Oblong, Illinois. He worked for the Body Company in Union City, Indiana for 28 years, until his retirement in May of 2005. In his free time, Dale loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, and going mushroom hunting.
Dale is survived by his son, Danny (Lisa) Lockhart of Ansonia; his stepchildren, Donny (Reva) Patton, Eric Patton, and John Patton, all of Robinson, Illinois, and Monica Patton of Casey, Illinois; his longtime girlfriend, Mary, of Robinson; his sisters, Cathy (Chuck) Hall and Alice Lockhart, all of Robinson; his brother-in-law, Bill Wait of Robinson.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. Burial will follow in Teegarden Cemetery.
Guests may visit with Dale’s family on Friday from 12:00 noon until the start of the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
