Darke County Animal Shelter: “long-time residents” are looking for a loving home

The Darke County Animal Shelter has a few “long-time residents” looking for “their” human, who wants to give them a loving home

All of them got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are dewormed, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday 9am-11:30 am.

Ava came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Ava is a 7-year-old female Mastiff Mix. Ava knows how to sit and loves to chase after balls! Ava is a very sweet friendly girl who loves to cuddle and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Ava did great for her bath, and exam where she weighs in at 65 lbs.
Roscoe came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Roscoe is a 5-year-old intact male Terrier Mix. Roscoe knows how to sit, lay down and loves treats! Roscoe is a big cuddle bug who loves attention. Roscoe doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Roscoe did great for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 57.2 lbs.
Layla came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Layla is a 2-year-old female Terrier Mix. Layla knows how to sit, lay down and will play tug-a-war! Layla is sweet girl who loves attention and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Layla did great for her bath and exam where she weighs in at 56 lbs.
