Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has signed a bill into law that changes some requirements for high school graduation and state assessment tests.
House Bill 67 amends Section 6 of House Bill 409 in regard to state assessments, high school graduation requirements and community school sponsor evaluations for the 2020-2021 academic year.
It requires the Department of Education to seek a waiver from federal accountability and school identification requirements while also declaring an emergency.

House Bill 67 also extends the end-of-year state testing period.
