Doyle Lee Kunkle, 76, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Hospice of Miami County in Troy, Ohio.
He was born on December 31, 1944, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late John Kunkle and Anna (Grimes) Mikesell.
In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Replogle.
Doyle was a simple man. He enjoyed riding his Harley, going snowmobiling, and occasionally fishing. Doyle served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Doyle is survived by his sons, Shawn (Kimberly) Kunkle of Covington, Ohio, and Jason (Carol) Kunkle of Greenville; his 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Edna (Ron) Schultz and Lois Drew, all of Greenville.
A private family service will take place at the convenience of the family with Pastor Rock Parkman officiating. Burial, with full military honors conducted by the Greenville Honor Guard, will follow in Greenville Union Cemetery.
