Earl E. Speicher

Earl E. Speicher, 39, of Union City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana. 

He was born on October 30, 1984 in Marysville, Ohio, to Troy Speicher and Mechelle (Thirkield) Stanley.

Earl is survived by his companion, Shannon Hill of Union City, Indiana; his children, Keyana Speicher and Connor Speicher; his step-children, Cheyenne Hill, Travis Hill, Blake Reedy, Dallas Reedy, Jesse Teal, Austin Green, and Jesse Green; his granddaughter, Daesha Rae Green; his sister, Megan Speicher of Marysville, Ohio, his brothers-in-laws sisters-in-law, Josh and Mary Crank of West Chester, Ohio, Trent and Jacquelynn Cole of Dayton, Ohio, and Andrew and Valarie Perreira of Union City, Ohio; his grandmother, Sharon Fisher of Marysville, Ohio, his aunt and uncle, Rob and Angie Speicher of Marysville, Ohio; his uncle, Rob Thirkield; his nephew, River Speicher of Marysville, Ohio; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rodney and Sheila Boone of Union City, Ohio; and his close friends, Frank and Elizabeth Proctor of Greenville, Julie Black of Ansonia, and Jim and Theresa Thompson of Greenville.

Earl was preceded in death by his step-son, Tommy Yaqub. 

He was a 2003 graduate of Marysville High School. Earl served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for RK Hydro-Vac in Piqua. Earl was a member of the Union City CrossRoads Church and the Paul’s PayLake. In his free time, Earl enjoyed fishing, boating, taking motorcycle rides, drawing, painting, playing Rocket League, and collecting “Jack the Skeleton”. He especially enjoyed playing with his children and spending time with his beloved Shannon. 

A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 11, 2023, at CrossRoads Church, 229 W. Pearl St., Union City, IN, with Pastor John Hannan officiating. Burial will follow in Union City Cemetery. 

Guests may visit with Earl’s family on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
