Eldora Speedway: great races and “the three F”

Three F? What are the three F? It’s Family, First Responders and Fireworks!

The Family Fireworks night on Saturday (May 20th) showcased the area’s firefighters and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel and besides USAC SpeeD2 Midwest Thunder midgets, DIRTcar modifieds, and Eldora super stocks it featured spectacular fireworks at the end of this community event, which was presented by Casey’s!

Disney characters interacted with the kids, face painters were there and Clowns twisted balloons.

If you haven’t been at a family event at Eldora Speedway yet, there is another one coming up: the Family Fireworks Night #2 will be on August 5th. Mark your calendars!

As mentioned before, there were races in 3 different classes: D2 Midgets, Super Stocks and Modifieds.

The winner of the D2 midgets was Matthew Lux (he also won Heat#2). Stratton Briggs and Bryce Massingill completed the TOP 3.

Jeremy Creech won the Super Stocks, Kyle Moore finished second and Earnie Woodard third.

The winner of the Modifieds was Adam Stricker. Jonathan Taylor was second and Andrew Charlson third.
