Elizabeth Irene Andrews, 92 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 6:55 AM at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. She was born August 14, 1930 in Yuma, Michigan the daughter of the late Louis and Irene (Gabyni) Miller.
Elizabeth retired from United Telephone in 1984 after 27 ½ years of service. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching especially hummingbirds, doing puzzles and coloring.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Andrews whom she married November 10, 1951, her sister Helen Madden, and her brother John Miller.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Cathy and Paul Detrick of Greenville, her grandson, Chase Parker Detrick, and her sister, Shirley Carnahan of Greenville.
Services will be held on Monday August 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Gilman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice.
