Fred L. Clemens

September 28, 1935  –  September 23, 2022

Fred L. Clemens, 86, of Bellbrook, Ohio, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 28, 1935, in Muncie, Indiana, to the late Maze and Marie (Hope) Clemens.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Keiser; and his brother, Edward Clemens

Fred grew up in Longtown where he lived for many years before moving to Bellbrook in 2005. He was a 1953 graduate of Westmont High School. Fred was an avid motorcycle rider, a member of the Dayton Lunch Bunch, a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, and was a faithful lover of Jesus.

Fred worked for Westinghouse/A.O. Smith in Union City, Indiana, until his retirement after 32 years of service, 10 of which he had perfect attendance. Fred also spent five years working for BASF in Greenville before he retired from there.

Fred is survived by his wife of 46 years, Holly (Pingry) Clemens, whom he married on December 27, 1975; his children, Elaine Mains of Clearwater, Florida, Monte (Terri) Clemens of Greenville, Ohio, Robin (Marty) Munchel of Lynn, Indiana, Christy (Scott) Evans of New Paris, Ohio, Kelly (Barry) Paulus of Greenville, and Angie (Jason) Scott of Kettering, Ohio; his son-in-law, Keith Keiser of New Weston, Ohio; his 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; his sisters, Cecelia Lovett of Dayton, Ohio, and Loretta French of Hope Mills, North Carolina; and his sister-in-law, Tanya Clemens of Marion, Indiana.

A memorial service will be held for Fred on Thursday, September 29, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM at Bellbrook Community Church, 3815 W Franklin St, Bellbrook, Ohio 45305, with Pastor Ralph Vencil officiating.

His family will be receiving guest on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, 1000 N. Broadway Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331. A celebration of Fred’s life will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
