Theft

On September 22, 2023 around 7:46 AM, police was dispatched to the Greenville PD, 122 W Main St, in reference to a theft. PO spoke to the victim, Phillip Nisonger. Phillip advised on September 21, 2023 around 11:06 AM he was shopping inside Speedway, 201 Wagner Ave, in Greenville. After purchasing items at the register he believed he put his wallet in his pants pocket. In retrospect, Phillip stated the wallet never made it into his pocket and fell to the ground. Phillip left the store with his wallet on the ground in front of the register.Phillip later noticed his wallet was missing and contacted Greenville Federal to cancel the debit card. After the debit card was canceled Phillip received a bank statement on his phone indicating his former debit card had been used on an unknown phone app to purchase an unknown item. Since the card had been canceled the transaction had been declined. Phillip described his wallet as a 1 year old brown leather wallet. The wallet contained identification cards, his Greenville Federal Debit Card, and $70 in various bills. PO contacted Speedway and asked to see video footage of this incident. They advised PO would have to come back on September 27, 2023 to review video footage. PO has no suspects at this time.

Disorderly

On September 23rd 2023 at 8:58 PM, police was dispatched to 424 West Main Street in Greenville, in reference to a disorderly subject yelling, and punching. PO heard a male subject, later identified as Jacob Brunswick, yelling from behind the residence in the driveway. PO found Jacob standing in the driveway in a fighting stance, leaning forward with his hands balled up into fist. Jacob began yelling “fuck you” and “motherfucker”. Jacob then collapsed backwards on the asphalt. When PO stepped closer, Jacob stood back up, returning to a fighting stance. Another P.0. arrived on scene about this time. Jacob began punching himself in the head, yelling at his neighbor Chad Garland who was standing behind PO. Jacob then charged towards Chad. Police stopped Jacob, by grabbing him. Jacob was detained and placed in handcuffs until he could be evaluated at Wayne Health Care. It was at this time that another PO arrived on scene. Police began escorting Jacob to the patrol cruiser. While escorting Jacob he bent over and began vomiting, after vomiting Jacob collapsed on the ground, He was still responsive, he then began yelling that his neighbor was out to get him. Police helped Jacob back onto his feet. Jacob was then escorted to patrol vehicle and placed in the back seat. While in the back seat of the patrol vehicle Jacob stated the he wanted to die, and asked police to shoot him. Jacob was yelling in the back seat and began hitting his head on the plexiglass of the patrol vehicle, harming himself. Greenville Township rescue arrived on scene, Jacob stated that he wanted to go to the hospital, asking for help. Jacob again stated that he did not want to be alive anymore. PO transported Jacob to Wayne Health Care Emergency Room where he was pink slipped with the emergency medical admission form. Jacob calmed down at the hospital and the handcuffs were removed while he waited to be further evaluated. Pink slipped was given to Wayne Health Care staff. Police collected witness statements from Heather Handwerk and Chad Garland who heard Jacob yelling and punching things. Heather also completed a victim’s rights form. The Defendant was served his copy of the citation for disorderly conduct, at the hospital where he was advised of his court date and time.

Domestic Violence

On September 24, 2023 at approximately 3:12 PM police was dispatched to 609 Walnut St #14 reference a domestic. It was discovered Dustin Kendrick and Danniel Elliott had been in a verbal argument over Danniel trying to flush Dustin’s cigarettes down the toilet. Dustin and Danniel both live at the address and are in a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship together. Danniel said she was going to leave the residence for the night. A 16 year old juvenile was present during the incident. BCI Only.

Drugs

On 09/24/23 at 5:13 PM police was dispatched to 412 W. Main St. on a drug paraphernalia complaint. PO spoke with the complainant, Don Monnier. He stated a taller, dark complected, w/m approached him in the back yard. He stated he was from Cheetum County, TN and handed him a trailer hitch, walked over to the corner of Vine St. and W. Main St. and got into a gray Honda SUV with a female driver. Monnier stated he did not know the male and had never seen him before. When Monnier looked in the trailer hitch he saw a latex glove and pulled it out. Inside the glove was a baggy containing suspected methamphetamine. PO seized the meth and latex glove and took it to GPD. It weighed approximately 57 grams. PO contacted a Detective and advised him. PO went back to the area to see if anyone would come pick it up until approx. 6:30 PM. The Detective will follow up with Monnier. The meth and glove were packaged and secured in the property room. Currently, there are no suspects.

Domestic Violence

On September 25, 2023 at 12:43 A police was dispatched to 150 Summer Dr. Olwines Mobile Home Park in reference to a domestic dispute. PO spoke to Kristy Myers. Kristy stated that her husband, Jeremy Myers and she were arguing through the evening of September 24. Kristy stated that Jeremy was drinking alcohol and became intoxicated. She stated that she took her dog outside to use the restroom and Jeremy followed. She stated that Jeremy was behind her and attempted to put her in a headlock with his arms. Kristy stated she got Jeremy off of her and walked in front of the residence to tether her dog. She stated that Jeremy followed her and she felt something hit her neck/jaw area. Kristy did not see what hit her, but she stated she fell to the ground from the pain. Kristy stated that Jeremy then grabbed her by the face, then around her neck with his hand in attempt to again strangle her. Kristy stated that she was able to get Jeremy off of her by kicking him. Kristy stated Jeremy then left the residence in his vehicle. A P.0. spoke to the complainant, Kimberly Aguilar. Kimberly is Kristy’s mother and resides with Kristy and Jeremy. Kimberly informed the P.0. that she did not witness anything. She stated that Kristy told her that she was outside walking her dog and that Jeremy threw something at her head/ neck area. Jeremy was located a short time later at 47 Winter Drive. Jeremy was highly intoxicated and advised he was drinking earlier. Jeremy advised this incident was just a verbal altercation. He stated that Kristy wanted him to get money to buy dinner. He stated that he got money from his parents, and went back home. Jeremy advised that Kristy then became angry when he came home with the money. PO asked Jeremy if either party tried to physically hurt the other and he stated “I didn’t try to strangle her or anything”. Jeremy continued to state that nothing physical happened and it was a verbal argument. Jeremy was placed into handcuffs and was transported to the DCSO jail for a charge of domestic violence, no bond. Kristy completed a written statement form and a victim’s rights form. This incident was audio recorded. No photos were taken of Kristy as there were no visible injuries. Jeremy and victim are married, reside together at the listed address and have a child in common. Jeremy has no prior convictions for domestic violence.

Domestic Violence

On September 25, 2023 at approximately 9:05 AM police was dispatched to 416 West Fourth Street in reference to a 911 hang up. PO heard audible arguing coming from inside the residence and additional units were requested to the scene. After knocking on the front door contact was made with resident/ involved person; Pierreana Williams who stated that everything was okay. A short time later resident/ involved person Jerry Desca came to the front door telling police to leave and get off his property before closing the door. Jerry continued to open the door and close it while instructing police to leave before ultimately retreating into the residence with the door closed. After additional officers had arrived the rear of the residence was checked due to it sounding like someone had exited the rear of the residence. Contact was made with Pierreana who had exited from the rear of the residence. Upon contact with Pierreana, Jerry exited the residence and attempted to lead Pierreana back into the residence while remaining to be hostile towards officers at the scene. Upon separating Pierreana from Jerry she advised that she had not been injured and she did not have any visible signs of injury. Pierreana stated that she was going to leave the residence for the day so she could go to work and ultimately went back inside the residence. Pierreana and Jerry live at the residence in a relationship and share a child together. BCI only/ No school age children present.

Domestic Violence

On 09/25/23 at approximately 7:00 hours, GPD was dispatched to 1108 Harrison Ave. on a domestic disturbance that was not in progress. PO was dispatched to 1108 Harrison Ave. due to an 18 y/o male had trashed the house. George and Ginger Aldora are the male’s grandparents and have custody of him. The 18 y/o got upset this evening because they would not give him his cell phone which they bought and pay for. He knocked items off the laundry room shelf, as well as, the stands in the living room before leaving the house. While PO was still there, the 18 y/o returned with his right hand bandaged and stated he punched a vehicle window down the street. Police went to 815 Harrison Ave. and located the vehicle which had already had the window broken out and was covered with plastic and tape. The owner was notified. PO looked at the 18 y/o’s hand which only had a minor abrasion on it which could have occurred at the house. George had stated that the 18 y/o threatened to “break his jaw”. George and Ginger were advised to look at their custody papers and contact their attorney to see if they are still responsible for the 18 y/o since he is a senior in high school but 18 y/o. The 18 y/o was advised of the domestic violence threats laws and warned of the potential consequences. All parties were remaining at the residence for the night.

Welfare Check/Fugitive from Justice

On September 28th, 2023, police responded to the Quality Inn, 1190 E. Russ Road to assist the road units in a welfare check. Officers on scene advised that they believed the male subject was lying about his name. PO made contact with the officers who showed PO a BMV image of a subject and advised that the male subject had given them the name Brady M Moore and date of birth of 06/05/2002. PO looked at the male subject giving the name of Brady and noticed that he appeared much older than the male subject Brady Moore in the photo. PO spoke to the female subject, Candice Maloney, and advised her of her Miranda Rights which she stated she understood. PO asked Candice who the male subject was and she stated multiple times that his name was Brady Moore and that they had been dating for two years. At one point, while police was speaking with Candice, an officer asked her if she would tell him the truth. Candice then tightened her lips, looked at the male subject and shook her head no. The Union City Police Department had been contacted and responded with his K9. Once on scene, The UC police chief deployed his K9 to do a free air sniff of the listed vehicle that Candice and the male subject had been located in. The K9 gave a positive alert to the presence of the odor of illegal narcotics. PO began to search the vehicle and located an uncapped used hypodermic needle on the driver seat floor broad. The male subject was advised that he was under arrest for the needle. The male subject finally advised that his name was Nathan Sharp with a date of birth of 02/01/1989. Through LEADS/NCIC it was found that Nathan had felony warrants for his arrest through the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office, Ohio Adult Parole, and a felony warrant through Kentucky. PO continued his search and located multiple used hypodermic needles. PO located a plastic baggie containing an unknown crystal like substance which had an appearance of methamphetamine in the ashtray area to the left of the steering wheel. Also in the baggie was another baggie containing a unknown purple substance which had the appearance of fentanyl. When Nathan and Candice were asked who’s drugs were in the vehicle, Candice admitted that they were hers. Candice was placed under arrest in handcuffs and placed in the backseat of a cruiser. After the search of the vehicle was finished, PO asked Candice what drugs were in the plastic baggie which she stated that there was meth and fentanyl. PO asked Candice if it was “purple fetty” which she stated that it was. Both Candice and Nathan were transported to the Darke County Jail. The next available tow company was called to tow the vehicle which Saunders Towing responded and towed the vehicle to their impound lot. PO transported the listed narcotics to Greenville Police Department. PO conducted a field test of the suspected methamphetamine which showed that the substance tested positive for methamphetamine. PO weighed the plastic baggie and the crystal like substance on a digital scale and found that it weighed over 3 grams. The suspected narcotics were packaged and placed into property as evidence.
