Greenwave Bowling: Boys and Girls Fall to Butler in Away Match

By Rich Hadden |

The Greenwave girls traveled to Roll House lanes to face the Butler Aviators.

The Aviators were too strong for the girls as they jumped to an early lead and extended that lead after each game.

Despite the loss, there were some bright spots for the girls.  Marissa Boney had a great series with a high game of 168 and a high series of 309.

The Greenwave boys took on the Butler Aviators tonight at Roll House Lanes.

The boys started out strong with only a 25 pin deficit after game 1.  The boys slipped a little to 67 pins after game 2.  They rallied back and made up those 67 points and led by 3 after the first baker game.  They fought hard but at the end of the match they lost by 55 pins.

Luke Kiser led the boys tonight with a high game of 218 and a high series of 400.  The JV boys also had a good match only losing to Butler by 36 pins.

Today (12/6), the teams will face Troy at home.
