Helen L. Overbay, age 96, of West Milton, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Village Green Healthcare Center in Greenville. She was born September 26, 1927 to Charles Harvey & Catherine (Norris) Timmons in Hollandsburg, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 62 years, Henry M. Overbay; daughter Kathryn Kinsey; 4 brothers; 6 sisters.
She will be missed and remembered by her children Ronald (Jackie) Overbay of West Milton, Gary (Coleen) Overbay of Troy, and Charles (Lisa) Overbay of Greenville; son-in-law Tom Kinsey of West Milton; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sister Bonnie Cox.
Helen was a member of the Potsdam United Methodist Church. She loved to do crafts, read, play aggravation and rub it in when she won. Helen loved her family very much.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 6 N.
