The Darke County Animal Shelter has 2 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Stella came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited and what we do know, is only from what we have observed. We believe Stella is a 1-year-old, female Terrier mix. Stella is a very sweet girl who loves attention. Stella has shown us that she knows how to sit, shake with both paws and lay down. Stella LOVES to play balls, rope and even by herself and is learning to walk on a leash. Stella doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Stella did great for her bath, nail trim and exam where she weighs in at 44.8 lbs.Izzy came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited and what we do know, is only from what we have observed. We believe Izzy is a 2-year-old, female Boxer mix. Izzy has shown us that she knows how to sit, loves treats and attention, has never met a stranger! Izzy is avery happy go lucky pup. Izzy is learning how to walk on a leash. Izzy doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Izzy did great for her bath and exam where she weighs in at 48.2 lbs.
