James A. Kuether, Sr. age 76, of Yorkshire, passed away on Monday at 5:09 AM February 26, 2024, at the Otterbein St. Marys.
He was born November 1, 1947 in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Leo & Verona (Albers) Kuether.
On December 6, 1974, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Willowdell, He married Martha Martin, and she preceded him in death on April 23, 2018.
He is survived by two children, Barb and Gary Timmerman, Yorkshire, and Jim Jr. and Becca Kuether, Minster; 10 grandchildren, Austin, Cory, Lucas, Nathan and Parker Timmerman, Adam, Grace, Ashlee, Emilee and Kylee Kuether; and sister, Velma and Ron Holthaus, Yorkshire, and brother Joe and Lorna Kuether, of Celina.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Norma Kuether.
He was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Willowdell and Egypt Community Club and was a farmer and truck driver.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Star with Pastor Deb Monnin presiding. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles.
