Jeffrey S. Runner age 60, of Gettysburg passed away at 6:50 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Jeffrey was born December 22, 1962, in Dayton to Judith (Massie) Runner of New Carlisle and the late Guy D. Runner Jr. Jeffrey was also preceded in death by a son, Guy R. Runner.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Kitty L. (Rapier) Runner whom he married June 20, 2020; children, Brittany Runner & Lance Thompson of Union City, Ohio, and Tyler Runner of Greenville; step children, Cody & Jessica Smith of Miamisburg and Milea & Camille Gober of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Harley Thompson and Aubrey Runner; brother, Jason Runner of New Carlisle; sister, Teresa Runner & Kathleen McGaha of Lebanon; aunt, Brenda Mears of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jeffrey worked at Whirlpool Corporation in Greenville. He attended Pleasant View Missionary Church. Jeffrey was a former coach in Greenville for various youth sports. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and enjoyed fishing and singing karaoke.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Scott Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
