Jerry L. Doss, age 77 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at his home on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 6:08 AM. Born in Greenville on May 8, 1946 he was a son to the late Earl Doss and Thelma (Foureman) Holsapple. Jerry was a graduate of Greenville High School, class of 1964. On July 3, 1970 he married the love of his life Cynthia Meadows, and they had two wonderful sons, Jordan and Jason. Jerry loved to fish and hunt, watch The Ohio State Buckeyes, and enjoyed watching basketball games. More than anything he loved spending time with his family and will truly be missed. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Teresa Talos: brother Stanley Doss: niece Michelle Smith.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, Cynthia Doss: sons Jordan Doss; Jason & Leah Doss: granddaughter Madison Doss: brother Raymond & Pat Doss: as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 5PM with Pastor Todd Reish presiding.
