Karilyn Kae Hittle age 79, of Arcanum passed away at 6:12 am Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
Karilyn was born May 16, 1942, in Greenville to the late Oral E. & Ruby Jane (Coppock) Boldman. In addition to her parents, Karilyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Hittle on October 8, 2011, whom she married September 1, 1961; twin sister, Marilyn Rae Boldman, sister & brother-in-law, Rebecca Gae & Jack Powell, and sister, Billie Jo Gasquez.
Karilyn is survived by her children, Rodney E. & Susan Hittle of Arcanum and Sherry R. & Scott Baker of Arcanum; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Edward Jay & Rosie Boldman of Union City, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Fonda Fae & Marion Miller of Greenville, and sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Marie & William Clauss of Pitsburg.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 14, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
