On November 7th, 2023, at approximately 1:37PM, the Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Department, Greenville Township Rescue, CareFlight, and the Darke County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash with injuries in the 100 block of North Broadway.
Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered that a motorcycle operated by Cole Thompson, 19, of Greenville was traveling north bound in the 100 block of North Broadway. A SUV operated by Nikki Rowley, 51, of New Carlisle was exiting an alleyway and attempting to enter the roadway in the 100 block of North Broadway when the motorcycle struck the SUV.
Thompson was transported to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash and is currently listed in critical condition. Rowley was transported to Wayne Health Care.
The crash remains under investigation by the Greenville Police Department.
