Celebrate the contributions that older adults provide to your community by nominating them for a 2023 Outstanding Senior Citizen Award. One award each is presented in Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties, selected by county council on aging or associated committee.
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, March 24.
This year’s Older Americans Month theme is “Aging Unbound” celebrating the ways older adults remain in and involved with their communities. Awards are announced in May for Older Americans Month on the Agency’s website and summer newsletter. Award information will also be provided to local newspapers.
