At approximately 1220 we were called to the 400 blk of Union St. on a train de-railment.
Upon arrival we found a total of 5 train cars involved in the accident. 3 of the rail cars involved were carrying Ethanol. These cars are full and just left The Anderson’s Ethanol Plant. Of the cars on their side, none of them were leaking any product.
There is no hazard to the city or any of the citizens at this time.
RJ Coorman is the owner of the track and they are diligently working to get crews here to get the cars back upright.
